Da Vinci code.
I just started Dan Brown's book Angels and Demons. So far so good. I got it cause I like The Da Vinci Code. The reason I got that is because the thing is such a big seller and I wanted to see what the fuss is about. Also, I heard about it on NPR. They were interviewing this guy in London who is a cabbie who reads alot. The cabbie was talking about how he was asking a guy who had read The Da Vinci Code, what was up with the book? The guy said 'Plot Plot Plot'. Which is true enough. Its a page turner. Easy to read. I enjoyed it. And I mostly read non-fiction these days.

I read Angels & Demons before reading The DaVinci Code. They were both pretty good, but if you read one, you pretty much read the other, too.
It's semi-formulaic, similar to what Michael Crichton does. Not to say the books are bad, but it is slightly disappointing just to see variations on a theme.
