Speed Racer.

I checked out the trailers for this flick on Yahoo Movies. The movie looked awesome photographically/computer graphics wise. It was very colorful. It also seemed like it would be dull, some guy driving a car around a track for an hour or so. Wonder if he wins? You go see it and tell me how it is.

Errol Morris is a bit of a flake.

I was listening to Errol Morris on Christopher Lydon's podcast show the other day. I'm a big fan of Lydon's and in general I think Errol Morris is a decent documentarian though somewhat pretentious. Anyway, Morris said that he talked to some honcho at MPAA (or whatever, the movie ratings guys) and she said that since 911 horror movies had changed, emphasizing humiliation more and being nastier somehow.

Give me a fucking break.

Tom Friedman - Thanks Fool

From Tom's latest NY Times blather, "Who Will Tell the People?
We are living on borrowed time and borrowed dimes. We still have all the potential for greatness, but only if we get back to work on our country."

Particularly if we don't get involved in wars cheerleaded by the NY Times and it's crusading columnists. Thanks.

BTW, tell Kristoff if he want's to save Africa, he's going to have to get a gun and do it himself.
