History of Violence - B
Stay - C-
History of Violence was good but not as great as I had expected. Cronenberg is an out there kind of director, but this movie wasn't all that over the top.
Stay was a funky looking, sort of dream like thing with a kind of bullshit story. I won't spoil it, but you'll probably figure it out if you watch it.

Books:
Blue Blood - A
Rubicon - B-
Blue Blood is a memoir from a New York Cop. He worked in Bronx and went to Harvard. Very interesting.
Rubicon is a popular history of the end of the Roman republic. It was reasonably readable but there was so much crap going on that I could barely figure out who was backing who half the time.
